They do require a credit card to sign up. You will have the game you select in your mailbox the next day(unless you order after 4pm, I think). You can keep the game for as long as you want. Just remember to put the game back in the pre-paid envelope and send it back when your done with it. Then 2-3 days later you will receive the next game on your list. This is a trial, you will have enough time to get a game try it for a week and send it back with no extra fees charged to your credit card. So if you decide Gamefly isn't for you just make sure to cancel it before the 10th day and you will have nothing to worry about. This is a big company, not some low life trying to get your credit card information just to make a buck off of you. I loved the service and decided to keep it. Have Fun!
